An elementary school reading specialist by day, Esther loves music, and is happy to play whenever she has a chance to do so. She began as a classical clarinet player, but has been focusing on jazz saxophone for the last 18 years, and is currently a part time student of of the California Jazz Conservatory. She counts her teacher, Dann Zinn, as well as saxophone icons Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Ornette Coleman, and Paul Desmond as her main influences.
